Why Manhattan, Kansas?
The Big Red One, 1st Infantry Division is located at Fort Riley Army Base in Manhattan, KS. Fort Riley is one of the largest Army bases in the nation. Through 2011 Fort Riley is going to double in size. There will be nearly twice the number of soldiers and family members.
