Edwin is a managing partner of a premier financier for undervalued assets. His responsibilities include fund management, global strategy, innovation of financial products and business advisory.

Previously and for five years, Edwin was a partner at DragonVenture (also known as DFJ Dragon), a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm, and was the Managing Director of DragonFund II and DragonFund III (aka VeryFund). While there, he served as a board director of Erlang Technology and Covault Corporation. Together with Bobby Chao, chairman of DragonVenture and founder of Cadence (NASDAQ: CDN), Edwin led the investment of and served as a board observer for Mobile365 (formerly known as InphoMatch) which was recently acquired by Sybase (NYSE: SY) for $450MM. Together with Bobby, Edwin also served as investor and board advisors for OSA Technologies which was acquired by Avocent (NASDAQ: AVCT) for $100MM.

In the community, he actively seeks to participate in fellowship and worthy volunteering opportunity. He is a member of Bridges Community Church, participated in Habitat for Humanity. He is also an angel investor (recent investment include pre-IPO Alien Technology (NASDAQ: RFID proposed) and volunteers time to help Band of Angels pre-screening deals. He is also a founding investor/partner of a local community bank, Tri-Valley Bank (OTCBB: TRVB) and a shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A and BRK.B) and has served as advisor to Stanford University's Asia Technology Initiative (ATI) Program.

A US resident and a native son of Taiwan, he is a graduate of Georgia Tech and CASE and has attended as visiting scholar at Georgetown University in D.C., Yonsei University in Korea, and TU  Berlin, Germany. He lives with his wife Patra and daughters Tifa and Fiana.
